I have never seem the abbreviation "crm" used in a cookbook, but common sense tells me it might stand for "cream". For instance, if your recipe says, "crm butter and sugar together", it would be telling you to cream the butter and sugar together. Of course, in a different context, the writer of the recipe could mean something else. If it looks like it might be a measurement, it could just be a typo.

I would go with cream

CRM stand for Cream. not the kind you add to coffee. It means to cream together more than one ingredient , for example, milk and butter, or soft cheese and salt....etc

Basically the crm is somebody’s shorthand for cream when writing out a recipe.
If you see crm in a recipe it could mean one of two things, for instance:
crm sce would be a short way to write ‘cream sauce’ or,
crm the ingredients would mean that you have to cream the butter and sugar etc. together.
It just depends in what context the ‘crm’ is used.
